Solid Steel in association with Serato (27th August) This week Freestylers hit us with the perfect mix to kick off the holiday weekend. It's a fast paced mix heavy on the beats, with music from Drumattic Twins, Zinc, Subscape and a whole host of tracks from the guys themselves.
DK up next to keep the pace flowing, starting with the rather tasty Midland re-edit of Sun by Caribou, new releases from Tru Thoughts with Hint and Maddslinky remixed by Simbad, plus Work Them by Ramadanman, currently doing the bizness and, as it's carnival weekend, the classic Scrappy by Wookie wraps up the first hour.
Ghostbeard is back giving us the real taste of carnival starting off with some versions on the very excellent Prisonbreak Rhythm, a couple of jams from South Rakka’s joint, Elephant Man, Warrior One and leaning heavily on Poirier’s Running High album. If that doesn't whet your appetite for Notting Hill, then nothing will.
