UK-based multi-instrumentalist, artist, DJ and producer Rules teams up with vocalist and best friend MURPHY for a new single entitled “Feeling (Hold On You)”, on Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records.

Speaking on the new single Rules says, “This track is built around a very specific feeling – those moments with friends that feel endless: sun going down, drinks in hand, driving around with the windows down and the music taking over. There’s a happiness to it, but also an underlying emotion, like you already know it won’t last forever. Writing it with Murphy in his attic at 2am gave it that same energy – honest, nostalgic and slightly vulnerable. Lyrically it’s about being caught in something you can’t quite leave, even when you know you probably should. I wanted the production to feel like a memory you can dance to.”
